Our job is to safely remove dangerous materials. Very often, we have to do this while people continue to work nearby. So in addition to making the environment safe for the future, we have to make sure that it’s also safe while we are working on it, and that we don’t disrupt ongoing business operations.

There’s a saying among outdoorspeople that they should leave nothing behind but footprints. We take that a step further by cleaning up the footprints, too. Perhaps the most memorable example of this occured in Boston where we were called in to abate several floors of a large occupied office building. The owner called to inquire when we planned to start the project. He was surprised to learn that we had already finished one floor and were working on the second. Quick, quiet, clean with no disruption to ongoing operations.
